Surviving Switzerland

an expat's experiences navigating the land of mountains, cheese and chocolate

Born and raised in the Midwest of the United States, I moved to Switzerland shortly after finishing my bachelor’s degree in French and German nearly 15 years ago. Since then, I’ve been alternately or consecutively traveling, raising kids, working, knitting, reading too much, writing and generally keeping busy.

Wishing everyone who drops by my blog a great day!

Thanks for stopping by my blog! I’m happy to have found yours and look forward to reading your posts 🙂

    • I’m still getting started here, as you probably noticed! Hopefully, I’ll be able to post more fun stuff soon. I also noticed your ‘Wordless Wednesday’ post; is that a tradition for bloggers?

That was my very first Wordless Wednesday. I have seen it around a lot and thought why not give it a try 🙂 and yes it seems to be a blogger thing. I really enjoy interacting with other bloggers and am still learning as I go!

Hope you have not yet suffered any pains from Swiss German. Anyhow I live in a little village just near Solothurn, so if you are ever in the area, just give me a tinkle on my blog.
